Unusually, for a small infant school, we run a very successful swimming programme in which all our Nursery and Reception, Year one and Year two children are taken to Aquavale for swimming lessons. Although voluntary contributions are made by the parents towards this for transport costs, the sports funding helps support the extra staffing costs required in providing this programme. Training costs have also been paid for via the funding.
Our children have a PE lesson every week, held in the Autumn and Spring terms in our local village hall. The funding will contribute towards the costs for this.
Money has been spent on new resources and we are planning to upgrade our sports storage facilities in the future.
